Luckily with resources like Pinterest, Etsy, The Knot and countless other blogs, inspiration for unique details are not in short supply. My advice for other DIY brides is to be careful when looking at ideas. I found that several months in to planning my list of projects was growing more then shrinking. I want to make everything I see! But I found it best to select just a few things that I really want to make and focus on that rather then adding more projects.
Most people who see my project list will think I have completely gone crazy. But the truth is I LOVE being a DIY bride! It allows me to be creative, add all kinds of personality and uniqueness to our wedding and perhaps most importantly...save money. What wedding planner doesn't love that?!
So here is where I am at so far. Details on each project to follow.

Soooo looking at this list only makes me conclude that I am ever more my father's daughter. I can no longer look at something without thinking how I can modify it, use it in a unique way or create it on my own all together. Yes I am becoming a Bennett but I will never stop being a Schlaff at heart.
Does this list keep me up at night sometimes? YES
I am a little crazy for doing all of this? YOU BETCHA
Do I have fun working on all of it? HECK YEA!!
And now I'll leave you with a little inspiration:
